Digital Media @ Events

A lot has happened the past few weeks. Well, not on my blog as you can see, but still things did happen! Last week the KEI-week took place. In my background, you may have read about my involvement in the organisation of the general introduction for all new students in Groningen, which aims to inform first year students about all aspects of Groningen’s student life (with some entertainment as a necessary evil). After three years, I will be leaving this organisation and focus on graduating. It needs some getting used to, but I am sincerely starting to like Twitter. Especially the rate through which information is spread via Twitter is quite interesting. Before any news organisation has posted an item on the web, Twitter is already buzzing with that particular news item, as well as feedback, comments, opinions, etc. This also makes that corporate stupidity is instantly shared with hundreds of people.
